Octopus reconstructs and displays 3D volumes based on a user-selected number of reconstructed planes within a depth of interest. Volumes can be zoomed, rotated and panned through, with user-control over levels of transparency, brightness, colour mapping and contouring. Quantitative phase imaging enhances the capabilities of the microscope.
